Critical Care in ICU, NICU, and HDU
Avantika Hospital provides comprehensive Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and High Dependency Unit (HDU) services to patients with critical and life-threatening conditions. Our aim is to offer the highest standards of care to all patients in need of intensive monitoring and support.
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) is a specialized department designed to provide care to patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses, including patients recovering from surgery, serious infections, accidents, or organ failure. Our highly skilled team of doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists continuously monitor patients with advanced life support systems.
NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) is dedicated to providing critical care to premature newborns, babies born with serious health conditions, or those in need of immediate medical attention right after birth. Our NICU team consists of neonatologists, pediatric nurses, and respiratory therapists to ensure the best care for newborns in a sterile and safe environment.
HDU (High Dependency Unit) caters to patients who require more intensive monitoring and support than a general ward but do not yet need the full level of care available in the ICU. Patients in the HDU typically need advanced monitoring for recovery or stabilization after surgery, serious injuries, or illness.
At Avantika Hospital, we use state-of-the-art technology, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life support systems to deliver immediate care to those in critical need. Our compassionate and dedicated multidisciplinary team ensures that all patients, from newborns to adults, receive timely and effective care tailored to their specific conditions.
